While managed care approaches have come in and out of vogue, the need to increase accountability for effective and efficient care has never been greater. Our staff have worked in managed care settings and understand them. We have designed and implemented cost-effective service delivery models, provider oversight approaches, and system-wide cost-saving strategies for behavioral health, juvenile justice and child welfare services.
We have consulted on federal demonstration grants, private foundation initiatives, Medicaid managed care, and local system reforms. All of these efforts shared a common goal of raising standards while maximizing the effect of scarce human service funds. We are particularly adept in clinical guideline development, mental health utilization management, provider strategies (outpatient and inpatient) in managed care environments, and the implementation of evidence-based service models.
