The Casey Life Skills tools include the Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment, the Life Skills Guidebook and the Ready, Set, Fly! Curriculum for parents and caregivers. The Ansell-Casey Life Skills Assessment is an easy to use evaluation of youth independent living skills. It consists of statements about life skills that youth and caregivers complete. All assessments and the accompanying scored reports are always free of charge. The Life Skills Guidebook (Guidebook) outlines important life skills, identifying activities and exercises that can be used to help youth improve them. It is designed to help both practitioners and caregivers develop a customized life skills teaching plan. The last component of the Casey Life Skills suite of tools is Ready, Set, Fly! These tools help caregivers teach youth skills needed to live successfully on their own.
