CHILD AND FAMILY EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES

The Center for the Study of Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) was founded in 1992 with a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to provide informed assistance to groups committed to understanding and preventing violence, particularly adolescent violence. Their web site provides state of the art resources related to policy research and practice. Of particular interest is their Blueprints series of evidence-based practices.

The Center for Evidence-Based Practices of the Orelena Hawks Puckett Institute.
The Institute's mission is to bridge the research-to-practice gap in early intervention, early childhood education, parent and family support, and family-centered practices. The web site provides resources relevant to this mission.

ADULT EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES

The National Implementing Evidence-Based Practices Website provides draft implementation resource kits and other information regarding evidence-based practices for adults with serious mental illness. The site has separate areas individually tailored for consumers, families, practitioners, supervisors, mental health program leaders, and public mental health authorities.

New Hampshire-Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center provides an extensive list of publications on evidence-based practices for adults that can be ordered online.

National Alliance for the Mentally Ill PACT Technical Assistance Center.
This site offers resources and technical assistance related to Assertive Community Treatment.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Center of Indiana. The website provides an extensive list of resources and a bibliography related to various topic areas as they pertain to ACT, an evidence-based practice for persons with serious mental illness. This Center also provides training and technical assistance related to ACT.
